August 20th 1969 – the last time all four Beatles were together in Abbey Road Studios, finishing off I Want You (She’s So Heavy) and compiling the Abbey Road Album. The dream was over…
(well not quite, in January 1970, Paul, George and Ringo recorded I Me Mine at Abbey Road, and of course there was Free as a Bird and Real Love later…)
