The Londoner: Help! Beatles PA threw away a John Lennon and Paul McCartney song

Joanne Petersen, former PA to Beatles manager Brian Epstein, tells Best of British magazine of an expensive mistake.

“John and Paul came and wrote a song in my office once while I was sat there typing. They tossed the paper they were scribbling on in the bin.

“Afterwards I emptied it and threw away those pieces of history.” Ouch.
