ALSO RECENTLY ANNOUNCED: RINGO STARR’S LANDMARK PHOTOGRAPHY RETROSPECTIVE HARDCOVER “BEATS & THREADS” CHRONICLING OVER 70 YEARS OF HIS LEGENDARY DRUM KITS AND ERA DEFINING FASHIONS AVAILABLE THROUGH JULIEN’S AUCTIONS
November 27, 2023 – Today Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band – Steve Lukather, Edgar Winter, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart and Gregg Bissonette – announced they will be playing 12 shows in the Spring of 2024. The tour will kick off May 22nd in Las Vegas at The Venetian, where they will do 6 shows overall, it will see them return to Mexico City for two shows at the Auditorio Nacional. Details for the additional 4 shows will be announced soon.
“I’ve always said I’m my happiest when I’m playing with great musicians – and this band is one of the very best. But even so,” Ringo said with a laugh, “sometime during and just after every tour I think ok that’s it – I’m going to stop touring. My family don’t believe me anymore and so it comes as no surprise to them that once again, I’m taking the All Starr Band back on the road! We’ll be doing 12 shows in May and June, going back to Mexico – which I love – and we’ll be doing a bit of a residency in Las Vegas at the Venetian. See you out there and until then I send you peace and love.”
Touring steadily since 1989, this current iteration continues the tradition of playing hits and delighting fans, as well as garnering praise from the press as seen in the reviews below from the last tour this Fall 2023.
