The Empress pub in Toxteth is to be transformed into a Beatles themed hotel
he Empress pub in Toxteth is set to be transformed into a Beatles themed hotel, complete with a mural of Beatles drummer Ringo Starr on the side of the building.
The pub, on High Park Street, is located close to the childhood home of Ringo Starr.
Joe McCarthy, one of the owners of Inservice Property Group, has said that the plan is to make the upstairs of the building a hotel, and downstairs a Beatles themed gift shop.
