There has been much excitement in the Beatles fan world about the forthcoming ‘Get Back’ Project. It is the film, directed by Peter Jackson, made from the 60 hours of footage that still survives from the Beatles sessions at Twickenham Film Studios and 3 Savile Row from January 1969. The film and accompanying book were due out in September 2020 – but was delayed due to Covid – with August 27 2021 being announced as the new date for both.
However, on Amazon.co.uk the book is slated for release on October 15th. It seems strange that the book will come out 2 months after the film. Does that mean the film will be delayed too?
