Queen beat the likes of The Beatles, Oasis and Billie Eilish to become the biggest vinyl artist of 2019.
The legendary rock band shifted more than 75,000 units last year, according to the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), buoyed by the success of the film soundtrack to the 2018 biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.
The Beatles, who came second in the chart, also received a boost in vinyl sales thanks to a film, after the release of Danny Boyle’s Yesterday film, with the 50th anniversary reissue of their classic Abbey Road Album proving popular as well.
Heritage acts David Bowie, Pink Floyd and Fleetwood Mac took third, fourth and fifth respectively.
Billie Eilish, the only new artist on the list, took seventh despite having only two titles available in the format — her Don’t Smile At Me EP and debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?
