The Beatles: John Lennon FREE tribute concert announced to commemorate star’s 80th

Next month, October, will see his birthday, and to commemorate the star’s life a free streamed John Lennon tribute concert is being held.

The concert is going to be packed full of artists who have in some way been influenced by the singer over the years.

Included in the line up is KT Tunstall, John Illsley of Dire Straits, Richard Curtis, Laura Jean Anderson, Blurred Vision and many more.

Streamed live from the Hard Rock Hotel in London, the concert will be collecting donations in aid of War Child UK.

Titled “Dear John,” this will be the second annual John Lennon tribute concert in aid of War Child UK.

It will be taking place on October 9, and will go live online at 8pm BST on YouTube.

The touching concert is being put together by Blurred Vision frontman Sepp Olsey.

    What time is “BST”? What time would that be in the Eastern Daylight TIme in the US (in OHIO)? I have two OTHER John Lennon birthday tributes that I have paid to watch ALSO on October 9th, one at 7 pm EDT here in Ohio, and the other at 9pm, my time. Thanks! IF I can’t watch the live stream will it be available to watch at another time and date? Would love to see this too, THANK YOU.
