I’m very glad to report that the owners of 3 Savile Row have agreed to the erecting of a plaque to commemorate the Beatles last ever live performance on the rooftop. It is hoped the plaque will be unveiled on or before 30th January 2019 – the 50th anniversary of this historic event.
A committee will now be formed to facilitate this happening, and to organise a ceremony for its unveiling. If you are interested in getting involved, please email richardandirina@tiscali.co.uk
AWESOME!!! ❤️
Fantastic, but can they take off a pop group. Just The Beatles is enough.
I agree Michael!
Yes, please remove “Pop Band!”
Will there be any other marking of the 50th anniversary?
Long overdue. The Beatles is all you need.
The one concert that I would have most liked to have been at – FAB!! Any update on when it will be erected and any involvement us minions might be allowed? My No1 iconic music site in London – plaque long overdue.
Fantastic.. Practising the rooftop playlist for a decade now…… love it.
All the best
Hans

I was there down in the street and will be there on the 30th.
I’m coming for the 30th Jan 2019 celebration, too. 🙂
I’m currently in Londo and that day I’m back to my country. Does anybody know what time the ceremony will take place? I’d like to be there!!
